Our espresso is brewed with care and expertise, made by forcing hot water through finely ground coffee at high pressure. This method releases an intense and powerful flavor of dark-roasted espresso, providing more complex flavor notes and a deeper coffee experience than the drip method. It also gives BOLD a touch of natural sweetness from the beans, reducing the need to add a lot of sugar. We believe this taste sensation makes more sense in people’s everyday lives.
The energy in our iced coffee is 100% natural, and the caffeine comes directly from the coffee beans. We add no caffeine beyond that. This way, you avoid chemically synthesized synthetic caffeine, which is otherwise used in a wide range of energy products. Natural caffeine is absorbed more slowly than its synthetic counterpart, ensuring a more balanced boost that provides you with energy for a longer period.
Unlike filter coffee, Espresso is produced under high pressure, which extracts the maximum strength stored in the coffee beans. This ensures a more concentrated and potent drink. Therefore, a BOLD contains 162mg of caffeine per can.
